Paralympic Games

Dutch athletes have competed in all Paralympic Summer Games since the first Paralympic Games in 1960 in Rome (Italy). The Netherlands has participated in all Paralympic Winter Games as well, with the exception of the Paralympic Winter Games 2006 in Torino, Italy.

So far Dutch Paralympic athletes have gained 283 gold, 254 silver and 233 bronze medals at Paralympic Summer and Winter Games. The Netherlands has been the host of the 6^th Paralympic Games in 1980 in the city of Arnhem.
